News|Patek Philippe Once Owned by Emperor Puyi Auctioned for Over 40 Million
On May 23, Phillips auction house sold a Patek Philippe watch once owned by the last emperor Puyi. This Patek Philippe Ref. 96 Quantieme Lune, one of only eight ever made since its sale in 1937, carries extraordinary value. The platinum-cased watch, measuring just 30mm, features moon phase, day of the week, and date functions, making it one of the most significant vintage Patek Philippe timepieces in horological history. The watch, previously owned by the last emperor, ultimately fetched HKD 48.85 million at Phillips.
