To meet the needs of pilots, Richard Mille created the RM 39-01, a complex yet clear aviation chronograph. The watch features a flyback chronograph function with a central seconds counter, a minute counter and countdown timer at the 9 o'clock position, and an hour counter at the 6 o'clock position. Richard Mille designed the dial using various striking colors to ensure easy and legible time reading.
