WATCHMAKER|IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41: Blending Genta’s Design Aesthetics with Perpetual Calendar Technology

IWC Schaffhausen unveils the Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41, marking the first fusion of Gérald Genta’s rugged aesthetic for the Ingenieur line with Kurt Klaus’s crown-operated perpetual calendar technology. The 41mm stainless steel case, paired with an integrated H-link bracelet, features a bezel secured by five screws and alternating satin and polished finishes. The blue dial showcases the iconic "grid" pattern, with sunburst subdials displaying date, day, month, and moon phase—accurate to just one day’s deviation over 577.5 years. Powered by the in-house 82600 calibre, it boasts a Pellaton winding system and zirconium oxide ceramic components, offering a 60-hour power reserve. The sapphire caseback reveals exquisite circular graining and Côtes de Genève decoration. A limited edition, it honors Genta’s design legacy and Klaus’s mechanical philosophy.
